Winter weather doesn't encourage time outdoors, but we all know it's good for us - long horizons (good for eyesight), sunshine (good for Vitamin D) not to mention the exhilaration of a brisk wind. For many sailors, Easter is the first cruise of the year, and Easter comes early this year. March will be the month for any maintenance, so take advantage of a dry day soon to give your boat the once-over and spot any maintenance that needs to be done. It's also the time of course to make delicious plans about where to sail, and who with, bringing a happy smile of anticipation!
Lloyd's confirms support for another year for Yachtline
Lloyd's has recently confirmed support for Yachtline for a further year, enabling us to go on offering worldwide cover to yacht owners. We're very pleased with the decision, of course, which reflects the Yachtline team's excellent work.
Yachtline's same day service wins accolade
One client was bowled over by Yachtline's quick response to a change in circumstances. Following a phone call from him in the morning, he had his revised certificate by 10:45 the same day! He emailed to say he had never had service like it from any other insurer. Another email praised our 'excellent service'. The Yachtline team was very chuffed about all that. Thank you.
And for the environmentally-responsible yacht owner......
A client has written to say that his wife, Sasha Barac, has published a book targeted at the more environmentally-conscious person with a bent towards the ocean cruiser. The book is titled Eco World. He says 'the book shows you how to identify and use simple, low cost, easily accessible natural ingredients for your cleaning, clothing, cosmetics and cuisine'. It is available on Amazon and Kindle.
