THE YACHTLINER February 2016
Yachtline's newsletter for clients
It's that really exciting time of year when many yacht owners are beginning to think about getting back out on the water, relishing that wonderful sense of space and adventure. Don't forget to renew your insurance before you go, though, just in case of problems. Yachtline will as usual, be sending out renewal notices in plenty of time. We look forward to hearing from you.
Lloyd's renews Yachtline's underwriting arrangements
Yachtline is delighted that Lloyd's of London has renewed Yachtline's underwriting arrangements for a 4th year. This means that we can continue to offer excellent yacht insurance cover backed by the leading global insurance market. Congratulations to all the team!
When in Italian waters....the latest requirement
The Italian authorities now require anyone navigating their waters to have a certificate in Italian confirming third party cover, and showing the yacht's engine serial number, any tender's serial number and the tender engine number. If you are going to need a certificate in Italian, do contact the Yachtline office.
When in US waters....the latest requirement
All yachts sailing in US waters must now have $939,800 of pollution liability cover, even sailing yachts. Yachtline can provide this extra cover if you let us know you'll be in US waters. If you are going to need this extra cover, do contact the Yachtline office.
Yachtline's online policy - still a market leader
A client based in Malta recently bought a Yachtline policy online on www.yachtlineinsurance.com. He was very impressed at how well structured, friendly and efficient the online process was. Clients have been buying yacht insurance online from Yachtline for nearly ten years now, and it's great to know the website still hits the mark.
