THE YACHTLINER September 2016
Yachtline's newsletter for clients
Summer is drawing to a close, and we hope it is leaving you with happy memories of cruising and life on board. Plans may be taking shape too for the winter months. In the meantime there are autumn boat shows to look forward to, with their cast of splendid new yachts to dream about.
Yachtline reaches the Indian Ocean (almost)
We are evaluating how best to provide cover to yachts in the Seychelles, over 100 islands and lots of sailing, obviously. Excitement is building here at the prospect of a field trip to find out how it all works on the ground, as it were. If your travels take you there, do let us know.
Yachtline in the 'nice corner'
The team in the office was heartened to hear from a client recently, who said he'd come to Yachtline because a friend had told him how nice we are to deal with. He was sceptical, given the general reputation of insurers, but he got his quote, bought his policy and has found it's true - Yachtline is nice to deal with! And even better, when he mentioned he was planning to sail round the world, we didn't hesitate, simply said, 'We can find you insurance cover for that too.'
Sasha Barac has produced her second book celebrating life on board, her own as well as the lives of other sailors. The stories come from ten years of sailing across the oceans, woven round the marvels she has seen, the adventures she has triumphed over and a good sprinkling of fun, accidents and inventions born from necessity.
Available in both paperback and Kindle editions from Amazon.
